Crews snuff out Abbotsford apartment fire

Flames on second floor deck of Fairlane Street apartment

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services are responding to an apartment fire near South Fraser Way.

Crews were dispatched to Fairlane Street at approximately 1:45 p.m., with reports of flames on both the second and third floors of the building.

Significant damage was caused to a deck on the second floor of the building, but no one has been reported to be injured.
