Charges laid in fatal Abbotsford school stabbing

Gabriel Brandon Klein is charged with murder and aggravated assault in connection with Tuesday's stabbing.

Charges have now been laid in Tuesday’s fatal stabbing at Abbotsford Senior Secondary.

Gabriel Brandon Klein faces charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with the stabbing of two female students, one of whom died from her injuries.

The charges were laid today, according to online court records. Klein was born in 1995, according to the province’s online court database.
