We asked and you, our loyal Abbotsford News readers, responded in spades when we asked who you believed were our Heroes in Education.
We received a plethora of submissions, all worthy candidates to be sure. In the end, we had to narrow it down to seven educators or staff involved in Abbotsford’s education world.

In our special section, “Above and Beyond, Heroes in Education,” you’ll read about educators, administrators, custodians, youth workers and language instructors who all make such an impression on their students and colleagues that they took the time to nominate them for this prestigious honour.
All of our “heroes” go beyond the call of duty. They find the little ways to make the lives and education of their students that much better.
We hope you’ll read about their efforts to bring the best out in their students and congratulate them should you see them in the community.
