A well-known transient man in his mid-60s was found dead early Tuesday morning behind Abbotsford City Hall.
A city employee found him around 6:30 a.m. and called 911. He was pronounced dead soon after, when police and paramedics arrived.
Cont. Ian MacDonald said the man is known to those who live and work in the area as an "engaging and peaceful" individual.
Abbotsford police are awaiting the coroner to determine cause of death.
More to come.
