Blaze destroys home on Abbotsford-Aldergrove border

A home on the Abbotsford-Aldergrove border suffered extensive interior damage in a fire early Monday morning that is being investigated as suspicious.

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and the Langley Township fire department were called to the blaze – located at the corner of Station Road and Fraser Highway – at about 4 a.m.

When fire crews arrived, flames were coming out of one side of the residence. Nobody was home at the time, but Deputy Fire Chief Ron Hull said the house does have occupants.
