UPDATE: Vancouver bars, restaurants to close for St. Patrick’s Day to limit COVID-19 spread

Move comes as B.C. limits public gatherings due to novel coronavirus

Chief medical health officer Dr. Patricia Daly said the order came after the province’s top health official, Dr. Bonnie Henry, banned gatherings of 50 or more people to slow the spread of COVID-19.
