Animal lovers showed up with pets in tow for the Paws for a Cause walk on Sunday morning in Mill Lake Park.
The 2014 Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause walk gives people the opportunity to fight animal cruelty and raise money for abused, injured, neglected and homeless animals.
The event brings animal lovers and their furry friends from all walks of life together for a great time as well as a fantastic cause. Participants enjoy a variety of entertainment and fun activities, including a bowl-licking contest, community vendors, a barbecue, and fabulous fundraising prizes for people and their pets.
