Walking shoes, rollerblades, bikes, strollers and dogs on leashes were the order of the day Sunday morning as 95 folks of all ages took part in the annual Kidney Walk at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford.
Participants raised money and walked the 2.2km trek around Mill Lake under ideal conditions, sent on their way by a lone bagpiper and a bottle of water.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada hosts its annual walk to raise funds for programs and services for people affected by kidney disease and for their families.
