Abbotsford pizza restaurant robbed at gunpoint

The robbery took place Friday night on Blueridge Drive.

Abbotsford Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a pizza restaurant on Friday night in the 30400 block of Blueridge Drive.

The robbery took place at 10:25 p.m., when a lone man entered the restaurant, where there were several customers and one employee.

The man approached the worker, showed a handgun and demanded cash. He spoke to at least one customer and to the employee in both English and Punjabi, said Const. Ian MacDonald.

The man then fled the business and headed east.

He is described as South Asian, in his 20s, about six feet tall and with a heavy build.

He was wearing green pyjamas with yellow stripes, a grey hoodie and a black scarf covering the lower half of his face.
