An Abbotsford pharmacy was held up at gunpoint by three robbers on Nov. 3.
Abbotsford Police patrol officers were called just after 5:30 p.m. to the Blueridge Pharmacy in the 30400 block of Blueridge Drive, said Const. Paul Walker, media officer for the Abbotsford Police Department. The suspects had already left the scene.
Three men, believed to all be 20 to 30-years old, walked into the business and brandished a gun before making off with money and prescription drugs, Walker said.
He added they were dressed in all black and wearing medical masks.
“Obviously, we don’t know if (the gun is) real or not at this point, but we’re treating it as if it is,” Walker said.
No customers and three staff were inside at the time of the robbery; none was hurt, Walker said.
The case has been taken over by Abbotsford Police’s major crimes division, who are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area between 4 and 6 p.m., or might have CCTV or dashcam footage, to call the non-emergency line at 604-859-5225.
