Abbotsford’s only mosque will again open its doors to curious non-Muslims this month.
The Abbotsford Islamic Centre hosts its second “Open Mosque Day” on Feb. 10.
The public will be able to drop by to learn about Islamic beliefs, art, and architecture, as well as Islamophobia. There will also be fun activities like hijab tryouts and henna tattooing.
The centre hopes Fraser Valley residents will visit, meet local Muslims, “and establish relationships based on mutual understanding and love.”
The event takes place Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Abbotsford Islamic Centre at 1980 Salton Rd.
