Abbotsford West MLA Mike de Jong will remain as the provincial finance minister in Premier Christy Clark’s new cabinet line-up, announced this afternoon. He was appointed to that position in the fall of 2012.
Nineteen MLAs were appointed to ministerial posts by Clark. They will be officially sworn in on Monday.
Abbotsford South MLA Darryl Plecas, a UFV criminologist, was appointed as the parliamentary secretary to the minister of justice and attorney general for crime reduction.
