About 30 students from Abbotsford Middle School presented a flash mob dance this afternoon at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre to raise anti-bullying awareness.

The students, along with staff members, broke out in dance in the food court at 12:15 p.m. to the tune "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars.

They have been practising the custom dance to present on Pink Shirt Day and raise awareness of acceptance of all people.

At the end of the performance, students handed out custom-designed bracelets to mall patrons.

Pink Shirt Day is held annually to symbolize that bullying will not be tolerated.

It was started after two Nova Scotia high school students organized a high school protest to wear pink in support of a boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
