Abbotsford man pleads guilty to child-porn offences

Andrew Douglas Felling will be sentenced at a later date

An Abbotsford man has pleaded guilty to child pornography offences.

Andrew Douglas Felling, 32, pleaded guilty on Nov. 13 in Abbotsford provincial court. His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for March 18.

Felling was charged last December and in January with five offences – sexual interference of a person under 16, possession of child pornography, importing or distributing child porn, making or publishing child porn, and accessing child porn.

The charges resulted after an Abbotsford Police investigator, who was searching online for images of child sexual abuse, was able to trace the IP address of certain images to an address in Abbotsford.

A search warrant was executed at that home on Dec. 6, 2013, and Felling was arrested.

He was charged the following day with sexual interference. The other four charges were laid in January.
