The Chilliwack RCMP drug section has arrested and charged an alleged drug trafficker who they say is known to both Chilliwack and Abbotsford police.
Glenn Mazhar Haqq, 62, of Abbotsford was arrested last Thursday on Chesterfield Avenue in Chilliwack.
He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance – cocaine – for the purpose of trafficking.
At the time of the arrest, Haqq was on bail for a charge of trafficking from Sept. 13, 2012. He is slated to go to trial for that charge on June 9, 2014.
He is scheduled to appear today Chilliwack provincial court yesterday on the latest charge.
