A fourth robbery believed to be connected to the same person has taken place in Abbotsford.
Police are investigating whether there are links between two similar incidents that have occurred in Mission.
The latest robbery took place Saturday at about 8:45 p.m. at the One Stop Love Shop in the 32800 block of South Fraser Way in Abbotsford.
A man brandishing a gun entered the shop and demanded cash from the lone 33-year-old female employee.
He then fled the store, and police believe he might have taken off in a vehicle parked nearby.
Const. Ian MacDonald said security video shows a dark-coloured 1990s to early 2000s domestic, full-sized sedan as a possible suspect vehicle.
Video also captures several people in a nearby parking lot, and MacDonald said police are appealing for them to contact police.
The robber was dressed in black, including a dark baseball cap, and had a scarf wrapped around the lower part of his face.
He was Caucasian, about 5' 10" and with a thin build.
This matches the description of two robberies that occurred in Mission – one on Oct. 12 at the 14th Avenue Pub and the other on Oct. 16 at the Mac's convenience store on Seventh Avenue and Stave Lake Street.
It also matches the description of three previous Abbotsford robberies – on Sept. 16 at a McDonald's in the 3200 block of Mt. Lehman Road, Sept. 30 at a Subway restaurant in the 31900 block of South Fraser Way, and Oct. 3 at a pizza restaurant in the 30400 block of Blueridge Drive.
In every incident, the suspect was carrying a handgun, had his face covered and was wearing dark clothing.
Another robbery in Abbotsford, taking place Oct. 8 at at convenience store in the 2100 block of McKenzie Road, also involved a man with a gun, but police now believe that incident involved a different person.
The suspect in that case, who was caught on surveillance video, was described as 5' 6" with a stocky build.
