Quick action by the Abbotsford Police Department resulted in the arrest of three suspects following a home invasion where a victim was taken to hospital on Friday.
The incident happened around 2:33 p.m. on June 23 where APD patrol officers were called to a reported home invasion in the 33000-block of George Ferguson Way.
“Due to the swift response from AbbyPD frontline officers, three adult suspects have been arrested in relation to this incident which is believed to be a targeted event,” Const. Art Stele, APD media relations officer stated in a press release later that same day.
A male victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed the public is not at risk, and all those believed to be responsible are in police custody at this time.
Members of the APD Major Crime Unit have taken over the investigation with the assistance of patrol officers and are in the early stages of the investigation.
Police are now looking for witnesses and dash cam footage.
