National award nomination for Abbotsford custom home builder and renovator

Prestigious award recognizes local company’s expertise in turning renovation dreams into reality!

Since 2007, Stattonrock Design + Build has been committed to providing the highest quality home build and renovation services to the Lower Mainland.

Today, the team at Stattonrock is thrilled to announce that they have been nominated for two 2023 Canadian Home Builders Association national awards, for a renovation completed in Abbotsford last year.

“We’re so proud to be recognized among the best in the business,” says Stattonrock General Manager, Jodi Thiessen. “The nomination for this national award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team. We strive to exceed our clients’ expectations on every project, and this nomination is a validation of our commitment to excellence.”

Longtime Abbotsford residents Dan and Randi Dueck are owners of the Stattonrock group of companies, which is comprised of Stattonrock Design + Build, Simply Living by Stattonrock and Stattonrock Woodwork. The group operates out of Abbotsford, serving families throughout the Lower Mainland with high performance home builds and renovations.

As VP of Stattonrock Group, Randi is involved in operations and design, specifically in Simply Living by Stattonrock. As President, Dan is Red Seal endorsed and served as past president of the Fraser Valley Canadian Home Builders Association, and currently sits on the National Canadian Home Builders Association Net Zero Council.

“We’re a net-zero certified builder and renovator,” Thiessen says. “We recently built the first net-zero certified home in the Fraser Valley in 2021, which we’re very proud of.”

The benefits of a net-zero home include increasing comfort and healthy living, while reducing the use of energy, strain on the electric grid, and your electric bill.

The Duecks are also proud to give back to their local and global communities, and celebrate these partnerships; a 10-year commitment of $10,000 a year to Abbotsford Foundry, and a 10-year commitment of $10,000 a year to Food for the Hungry Canada.
