Torrid is coming soon to Abbotsford.
Highstreet Shopping Centre revealed on social media on Jan. 30 that the women’s clothing retailer is arriving in the next few months.
Torrid offers plus-size clothing and accessories for women in sizes 10 to 30. The company was founded in 2001 in California and entered the Canadian market with a store in Toronto in 2015.
There are now 600 locations worldwide. The Abbotsford store will be the fifth in B.C., joining previous stores in Kamloops, Kelowna and Surrey (two). There is also a Torrid in Bellingham, Wash.
According to the Torrid website, the Abbotsford location will be found at Unit C175 (the south-central section of the mall).
