An established restaurant franchise in Ontario is expanding west and Abbotsford will be one of the stops.
Pita Land, which has operated out of Ontario since 2003, has posted signage indicating they are moving into the former Reflex Abbotsford location (#103 2349 Trethewey St.) in the South Fraser Gate shopping complex.
According to the Pita Land website, they have 40 locations in Ontario and 50 across Canada. Abbotsford and Kelowna will be the brand's first entries into British Columbia. Both locations are expected to open soon.
The Pita Land menu consists of Middle-Eastern fare, such as shawarma, tabouli, fattoush, and falafel. They also offer wraps, bowls, burgers, salad and more.
Pita Land adds to a new feel at South Fraser Gate, with Sahota's Live Grill (formerly Original Joe's) also set to open sometime this summer.
