An all-candidates forum for the Mission-Matsqui-Abbotsford riding will take place on Tuesday, April 8.
The Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the forum which will take place at the Best Western Conference Centre (32281 Lougheed Hwy.) in Mission. Doors will open at 6 p.m., providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with community members and meet the candidates.
The formal moderated discussion will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude by 9 p.m. This forum offers candidates the platform to share their vision, address key issues, and engage with voters.
To ensure accessibility, the forum will be live-streamed on YouTube and available for viewing at a secondary site in the Harrison Valley, coordinated by the Harrison/Agassiz Chamber of Commerce.
“This forum is a vital opportunity for residents to hear directly from the candidates and make informed decisions as they prepare to vote,” said Miriam Bozman, executive director at the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful for the generous sponsorship of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, which allows us to host this event.”
The event is free and open to the public.
Invitations have been sent to all five declared candidates.
