West Abbotsford residents will soon have the chance to indulge in some unique and cool treats.
The News has learned that La Diperie will open its doors on Monday, June 24.
La Diperie will operate out of the same space as Jugo Juice, which opened in the Mount Lehman Centre in west Abbotsford. It can be found beside Starbucks.
The dessert specialist offers ice cream, cake, cookies, donuts and shakes. They typically offer 20 toppings and 30 dips for customers to enhance their treats with.
La Diperie launched in 2014 in Quebec and has since expanded to 65 stores in Canada. There are also now locations in Ontario, Alberta, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and British Columbia. Abbotsford is the third B.C. city for the brand to launch in, as they currently have stores in Kamloops and Kelowna. La Diperie also can be found in Florida.
They are part of the MTY Group, who own over 70 dining brands including Thai Express, Extreme Pita, Taco Time and others.
La Diperie is also known for its trademark turqoise wall, but it's unclear whether that feature will be coming to the Abbotsford store.
