Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both aged 21, have been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the shooting death of 51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda in Mississauga, Ont. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

The Abbotsford Police Department is among the agencies that assisted in an investigation that led to two men from Delta being charged in relation to the fatal shooting of a man in Ontario.

Peel Regional Police announced Tuesday (June 3) that its Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau had arrested Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both aged 21, following an "intensive" investigation into the death of 51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda from Brampton, Ont. Both men have been charged with first-degree murder.

Police allege that on Wednesday, May 14 at 11:49 a.m., Dhadda was approached by the suspects and shot multiple times while in a parking lot near in Mississauga, Ont. He later died in hospital.

The suspects fled in a stolen black 2018 Dodge Challenger, which was recovered shortly after the incident.

Investigators identified two suspects and tracked them to Delta. The press release states that Peel Regional Police officers arrested Aman and Digvijay on May 28, with the assistance of the Delta Police Department, the Abbotsford Police Department, Surrey Police Service and RCMP.

“This arrest is a testament to the unwavering perseverance and diligence of our homicide investigators," said Chief Nishan Duraiappah of the Peel Regional Police.

"The strong collaboration with policing partners allows this family to take the next step toward justice for the loss of their loved one. Despite the suspects’ efforts to evade capture, our teams remained focused and relentless. This outcome sends a clear message: No matter how far you run, our teams will find you,"

Aman and Digvijay appeared before a judge in Surrey before being turned over to homicide detectives for transport back to Ontario, assisted by the British Columbia Sheriff Service. The pair then attended a bail hearing June 1 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
