Twisters Gymnastics welcomes over 600 athletes competing in artistic gymnastics to Abbotsford this weekend (March 15-17) for the 29th annual Twisters Invitational.

The event will be at Abbotsford’s Ag-Rec Building located at 32470 Haida Dr.

Spectators can watch interclub, xcel and gymnaestrada level athletes on Friday (March 15). Level one athletes all the way up to senior gymnasts compete on Saturday (March 16) and Sunday (March 17). For higher level men’s athletes this meet will serve as the second trials for nationals.

Admission per day is $15 for an adult; $8 for a child or senior. The family rate includes two adults and two children for $42 per day. Two-day or full-weekend passes are also available.

Twisters has been a notable home for high-level gymnasts over the years. 2024 Olympic hopeful Zachary Clay trains at Twisters. Former Olympians Richard Ikeda, Ken Ikeda and Kate Richardson have also trained at the club, as well as numerous national and Team BC athletes.
