Former Abbotsford News reporter Tyler Olsen has been nominated for a prestigious 2021 Ma Murray Award.
Olsen’s story, Is quarry’s danger enough reason to remove rare peregrine falcon nesting site?, was nominated in the environmental writing category.
The Ma Murray Awards, an annual celebration of newspaper excellence for members of the British Columbia and Yukon Newspaper Association, will be presented April 29 in a virtual gala ceremony.
