The Taste of Abby Fall Food Festival returns from Sept. 13 to 22, with various culinary experiences planned throughout the celebration.
The festival is hosted by Tourism Abbotsford and kicks off with the Taste of Abby Night Market on Friday, Sept. 13 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Jubilee Park.
The evening includes handcrafted food and beverages from local vendors in Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley.
Each vendor will offer a variety of menu options, ranging from samples to full-sized portions.
Night market tokens can be purchased for $2.50 each, with food prices ranging from two to eight tokens based on portion sizes.
Live music throughout the evening will be performed by Greg Neufeld, Ryan McAllister and Kyler Pierce.
Also as part of the event, the Food and Farm Awards will be presented.
General admission to the night market is $40, which includes eight night market tokens.
Admission for kids (ages six to 12) is $10 for four tokens, and kids five and under are free. Additional tokens can be purchased at the event.
Other Taste of Abby opportunities include limited-edition products, a Fall Flavours cookbook and the Take a Bite and Win a Flight contest. The prize is a one-hour sightseeing helicopter flight for two from BC Helicopters.
