WEATHER: Clear skies and cold continue

Snow is in the forecast in the days ahead

Today’s forecast for Abbotsford calls for continued clear skies and cold temperatures, with a chance of flurries tomorrow night and Friday, according to Environment Canada.

Winds of up to 70 km/h should diminish to 20 km/h by this afternoon, with highs of minus 1. Tonight should be clear with highs of minus 6.

Tomorrow will start off sunny, but turn to a mix of cloud and sun in the afternoon. and highs of minus 1.

Forecasters says there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries Thursday evening, carrying through Friday, but the temperature should get to a high of two degrees.

Saturday also brings a 70 per cent chance of snow, which could turn to freezing rain by the evening.

Freezing rain or snow is also in the forecast for Sunday, according to Environment Canada.
