FAMILY STORY TIME

Mission Library (33247 Second Ave.) holds a family story time on Friday, Jan. 18 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Stories, songs and puppets are included. Info: 604-826-6610

HYMN SING

PARENTING TALK

Your Child, Computers and Social Media is the topic of a presentation by former Vancouver Police officer Jesse Miller on Monday, Jan. 21. The free session begins at 7:30 p.m. at MEI Middle School, 4081 B Clearbrook Rd. The program is part of a parenting series being offered at the school.

 

DIGITAL LEARNING

Four free sessions called Digital Learning start Tuesday, Jan. 22 at New Beginnings Daycare, 32355 Mouat Drive. They run every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and are open to dads and moms with kids age six and under. The classes focus on digital photography and processing, Internet and social media safety, and fun family projects. Free childcare and snacks are provided. OPEN HOUSE

Abbotsford Learning Plus  is hosting an open house on Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 2499 McMillan Rd. Information and registration forms will be available. Free coffee and tea will be served.
