Rick Hansen Secondary student Dil Sangha has been named the winner of the 2011 Dry Grad grand prize of a Ford Explorer.
The prize was donated by Magnuson Ford in Abbotsford.
The keys to the vehicle were presented to Sangha by Magnuson Ford service manager Dean Goddard.
June Olson, this year’s co-chair of the parent-led Dry Grad event, had approached Magnuson Ford and together they decided upon this vehicle as the grand prize, to encourage students to attend the drug- and alcohol-free event.
“It was a huge success and also showed teens that you can have a lot of fun with your friends, and maybe even win a great prize, without the presence of drugs or alcohol,” Olson said.
