Farmer and Country Market
Entering its eighth year, the market sells locally grown fruit and vegetables, flowers, plants and unique, handcrafted art. It takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. until late October. In the winter, it runs twice a month.abbotsfordfarmandcountrymarket.com
Trethewey House Heritage Site
The arts and crafts house, built for timber baron J.O. Trethewey, sits in a park-like setting near Mill Lake. The site is operated by the MSA Museum Society, and has been restored to the 1925 era, featuring period gardens and a heritage habitat garden. msamuseum.ca
Clayburn Village
The unique village, situated on the sheltered west side of Sumas Mountain, was the first company town in B.C. It housed employees of a clay-product manufacturing plant, the village store, church and school. Founded in 1905, Clayburn Village became a heritage conservation area in 1996. clayburnvillage.com
Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery
