Farmer and Country Market

Entering its eighth year, the market sells locally grown fruit and vegetables, flowers, plants and unique, handcrafted art. It takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. until late October. In the winter, it runs twice a month.abbotsfordfarmandcountrymarket.com

Trethewey House Heritage Site

The arts and crafts house, built for timber baron J.O. Trethewey, sits in a park-like setting near Mill Lake. The site is operated by the MSA Museum Society, and has been restored to the 1925 era, featuring period gardens and a heritage habitat garden. msamuseum.ca

Clayburn Village

The unique village, situated on the sheltered west side of Sumas Mountain, was the first company town in B.C. It housed employees of a clay-product manufacturing plant, the village store, church and school. Founded in 1905, Clayburn Village became a heritage conservation area in 1996.  clayburnvillage.com

Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery

Learn about a trout’s habitat, diet, and life at the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery. The hatchery provides a fun and educational experience for all ages with self-guided tours, informative videos, and exhibits. There are also programs on how to fish.  gofishbc.com

Bakerview EcoDairy

The EcoDairy is Canada’s first demonstration farm of its kind, offering a first-hand agri adventure for the whole family. Check out the 24-hour robotic milking, visit the petting zoo and enjoy a fresh snack from the market.  ecodairy.ca

Tanglebank Country Gardens

Tanglebank Country Gardens is a cottage-style nursery that not only displays plants in a beautifully landscaped garden, but also hosts seminars and popular events all year, including Art in the Garden, Mother’s Day Tea, and Christmas at Tanglebank.  tanglebank.com

Castle Fun Park

Castle Fun Park is a year-round amusement park for the whole family. It has more than 160 amusements – including mini golf, go-karts, bumper cars, a shooting gallery, batting ranges, and dozens of arcade games. castlefunpark.com
