It'll be a mix of Latin country and country music when three musical artists hit the stage at a Chilliwack brewery this summer.
Steve Ricardo, Duane Watson, and James Stanway will be performing live at Flashback Brewing on Aug. 9.
Ricardo, who's from Spain and lives in Abbotsford, has more than 30 years in the industry as a heavy-metal guitarist and band leader. Known for his work with bands like Cornucopia and Dirty Audio Machine, as well as his collaborations with acts such as Wrecking Crew, Bif Naked, and Bonnie Scott, he has etched his name into the annals of rock history.
In his newly released acoustic solo album El Diablo Mio, Ricardo blends elements of country and flamenco to create a one-of-a-kind musical experience. The album showcases his versatility as a musician, effortlessly transitioning from blistering guitar solos to soulful, introspective ballads.
Duane Watson is an indy singer-songwriter from Chilliwack. James Stanway, who lives in Agassiz, has played guitar since the age of 12 and his musical influences include blues, jazz, rock and country.
Ricardo said the three of them are good friends.
In addition to the music, an acoustic guitar will be raffled off that night.
The concert is presented by Three Card Draw Ent. and it'll be at Flashback Brewing (1-9360 Mill St.) on Friday, Aug. 9 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $15.
