Three Abbotsford arts organizations have received almost $70,000 in provincial government funding to help them adapt to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Reach Gallery Museum is receiving $35,000, while the Abbotsford Arts Council has been awarded $25,000. Heritage Abbotsford Society is getting $8,000.

The funding is awarded through the Pivot Program administered by the B.C. Arts Council.

A total of $4.3 million has been awarded to 189 artists and organizations in the Lower Mainland.

The grants support them as they find ways to create and reach audiences after being faced with temporary closures of venues and restricted audience sizes during the pandemic.
