The Sweeney Singers present their 2018 spring concert, Alleluia, on Friday, June 8 in Abbotsford.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church (2777 Townline Rd.).
The Sweeneys’ passion for singing is demonstrated by their exploration of diverse repertoire from many eras and genres.
The singers are dedicated to making music accessible to their audience, and their program includes folk and contemporary music as well as classical selections accompanied by local string players.
The Sweeneys are committed to serving their community and continue to sing for worthwhile causes. Admission is by donation and proceeds from this concert go to Matthew’s House.
