Artists and crafters are needed for the Canada Day Art Market.
The Abbotsford Arts Council has put out the call for submissions for the 2014 Beach Party Canada Day art market, slated to run from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Abbotsford Exhibition Park on July 1.
This lightly juried market will feature artwork of many diverse styles, ages and mediums from Lower Mainland artists and crafters.
Application forms are available online (abbotsfordartscouncil.org) or at the Kariton Art Gallery (2387 Ware St.), and must be dropped off between June 1 and 7. The gallery's hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday to Sunday.
