Singer Carolyn Arends and Langley Ukulele Ensemble perform in Abbotsford

Concert on Dec. 1 at Northview Community Church

Award-winning singer-songwriter Carolyn Arends and the Langley Ukulele Ensemble are featured in concert Sunday, Dec. 1 in Abbotsford.

The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Rd.

Arends has released 14 albums and authored three books, with 15 songs reaching top 10 charts in Canada and the U.S. She is also the director of education for Renovaré, a non-profit Christian organization.

The Langley Ukulele Ensemble brings more than 40 years of musical excellence.

The group of young musicians, aged 13 to 18, has shared their talents internationally. Under the direction of Paul Luongo, they’re known as “musical ambassadors” for Canada and have performed for audiences from Hawaii to Japan.
