Shannon Lee will perform in Mill Lake Park on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 8 to 10 p.m., as part of the Envision Concert in the Park Series.
Lee is a former Winnipeg girl who has made Langley her home.
She is a multi-talented instrumentalist who has recorded two albums of original music, containing singles that received airplay in Europe, Australia and Canada.
Lee has been featured at the 2009 Merritt Mountain Music Festival and played the Mission Twilight Concert in the Park.
Lee’s music is light rock and country, with a smattering of jazz. Her voice has been compared to Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Amanda Marshall and Diana Krall.
