Shakespeare scholar presenting at UFV

Internationally renowned Shakespeare scholar David Schalkwyk, director of research at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. and editor of Shakespeare Quarterly, will deliver two presentations during a visit to UFV next week.

Internationally renowned Shakespeare scholar David Schalkwyk, director of research at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. and editor of Shakespeare Quarterly, will deliver two presentations during a visit to UFV next week.

On March 14 at 12 p.m., Schalkwyk will speak at the UFV Bookstore on the Abbotsford campus about Hamlet’s Dreams: The Robben Island Bible.

He will discuss theatricality and the creation of characters in The Tempest on March 15 at the UFV Theatre on the Chilliwack campus at 7:30 p.m.

Both talks are free and open to the public.
