Hot off Monday night's performance by Train and Maroon 5 at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC), another act has been announced.

Canadian country star Paul Brandt will be bringing his NOW tour to the arena with special guest High Valley on Wednesdsay, Dec. 14.

On Tuesday, Brandt released his first new album in four years, entitled Give It Away, along with a box set collection, entitled NOW.

The new album will stay true to the Albertan's tradition roots, but will also explore new territory. The box set is a compilation of Brandt's work.

“It feels great to be back on the scene with new music and a unique box set collection to share with the world," he said. "I look forward to connecting with my supporters through my music and concerts this fall. This is the start of so much more to come, and it’s really exciting.”

As the most awarded Canadian country male artist in history, Brandt's performance will reflect his long list of hits, including My Heart Has A History and Small Town & Big Dreams.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., and are available at www.livenation.com

They are also available at the AESC box office, or by phone at 1-866-977-AESC (2372) or contacting the Rogers Wireless Box Office.

Prices are $34.50 and $47.50, with $2 from each ticket donated to the Empty Stocking Fund.

The AESC is located at 33800 King Rd. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
