Old Dominion plays Abbotsford Centre

Country rockers perform Saturday, Feb. 10

Acclaimed country rockers Old Dominion make a stop in Abbotsford on Saturday, Feb. 10 as part of their Happy Endings world tour.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at Abbotsford Centre with special guests Cold Creek County and Washboard Union.

Old Dominion blends old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock ’n’ roll grit into radio-friendly, hook-heavy pop nuggets.

The band has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound.

Among their top-selling singles are Break Up with Him, Snapback and Song for Another Time.

In 2016, the band was named ACM New Group of the Year, ACCA Breakthrough Group of the Year, AIMP Songwriter Artist of the Year and Music Row Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer White Sellers.

Last fall, the band released their sophomore album Happy Endings, which debuted number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and number seven on the Top 200 following its released.

Happy Endings is a follow-up to their RIAA gold-certified debut Meat and Candy, and includes the hit singles Written in the Sand and No Such Thing as a Broken Heart.

Last summer, the band performed in front of two sold-out crowds at Gillette Stadium, opening for Kenny Chesney, and concluded their National Bud Light Dive Bar concert series at select cities across the U.S.

By the time the band’s tour dates concluded in 2017, they had played more than 145 shows in front of more than 1.3 million fans.

Tickets for their Abbotsford concert are available at the box office, online at abbotsfordcentre.ca or charge by phone at 1-855-985-5000. Prices range from $39.50 to $69.50 (plus service charges).
