The Fraser Valley Symphony presents the final concert of its 2013-14 season on June 8.

The Fraser Valley Symphony closes its 30th anniversary series with a concert called “Movie Magic II” on Sunday, June 8.

The orchestra will present familiar classical pieces that have been “imported” to films, plus numerous original compositions specifically written for the big screen.

Program features include Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, Mozart’s Adagio from Clarinet Concerto, Puccini O! Mio Babbino Caro, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, James Bond 007 themes, and more.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium (32315 South Fraser Way), and the concert begins at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors/students, and $6 for children (12 years old and under).

They are available at King’s Music, Tourism Abbotsford, Claim to Fame (in Mission) and Act 1 Music (in Langley). Tickets will also be sold at the door, if available.
