Local rockers Minnesota Nice will take to the Kariton Art Gallery stage in Mill Lake Park next weekend as part of the ongoing Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series.
Formed in the summer of 2012 by Aaron Dawson and Daniel Wagner, the band draws on a wide spectrum of influences, from Led Zeppelin to Jimmy Eat World.
They will take to the stage Aug. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
With bassist Mike Currie and drummer Mike Murie rounding out the band, Minnesota Nice recorded its first set of demos in February 2013 and have already made their way into the Vancouver music scene with shows at Joe’s Apartment and The Roxy.
