Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ Mamma Mia!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, comes to Abbotsford Centre (33800 King Rd.) on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA’s songs – from Dancing Queen and S.O.S. to Money, Money, Money and Take a Chance on Me – Mamma Mia! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found, as a young woman raised by a single mother endeavours to discover who her father is.
Tickets are $65 to $99 plus applicable charges. They go on sale Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. through the box office at Abbotsford Centre, ticketmaster.ca, and all Ticketmaster outlets.
Mamma Mia! is the eighth longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five current musicals to have run for more than 10 years on Broadway. The international tour has visited more than 81 foreign cities in 37 countries.
