What is expected to be one of the summer's biggest blockbuster movies opens tonight (Thursday) in Abbotsford, but not many tickets remain.
Deadpool and Wolverine, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, features the two heroes teaming up for what is likely to be a huge box office return.
The Cineplex Cinemas Abbotsford and VIP, located at Highstreet Shopping Centre, has over a dozen show times of the movie spread throughout its facility on opening day.

This is the third time that Reynolds has portrayed the character as a headliner in a feature film. The first Deadpool movie was released in 2016 and Deadpool 2 came out in 2018. Reynolds did technically appear as Deadpool in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but had his mouth shut for most of that appearance.
Jackman initially portrayed the Wolverine character in the 2000 film X-Men. He also donned the adamantium in X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), X-Men: First Class (2009), The Wolverine (2013), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and Logan (2017).
