A book launch for a new children’s book takes place Saturday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. at Mennonite Heritage Museum (1818 Clearbrook Rd.) in Abbotsford.
Dear Peter, Dear Ulla (Thistledown Press) by Barbara Nickel tells the story of cousins Peter and Ulla, who live in Saskatchewan and Danzig respectively and write letters to each other until the Second World War interrupts their conversation.
The in-person event will feature readings, refreshments, a children’s play station, and live music.
