The well-known country songs Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy and Redneck Woman will have Abbotsford singing along this fall.

Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson, with special guests Cowboy Troy and Two Foot Fred, will be performing at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC), 33800 King Rd., on Thursday, Sept.22.

“Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson are back and better than ever,” said Jason Blumenfeld, general manager of the AESC. “They are among the hottest country acts out there, and we are lucky to have them play at the AESC.”

Big & Rich has released three albums, producing hits like Comin’ to Your City, Holy Water, Lost in This Moment and Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy.

Their ability to incorporate rock and rap into their country albums has set them apart from other acts.

The duo is also proactive in the media, appearing on shows like Nashville Star and Dancing with the Stars.

John Rich also found success on the recent season of The Celebrity Apprentice.

The pair often collaborate with Gretchen Wilson – a singer whose first single, Redneck Woman, spent six weeks at number one on the Billboard country charts and garnered her a Grammy.

She’s churned out hits like Here for the Party, When I Think About Cheatin’, Homewrecker and All Jacked Up.

Wilson has sold over six million records worldwide.

Doors for Xtreme Muzik – The Tour will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., and are available at abbotsfordcentre.ca, at the AESC box office and by phone at 1-866-977- AESC (2372).
