Girls’ Night @ The Museum

Back for the third year, Girls Night@The Museum takes place on Friday, Nov. 2 from 7-10 p.m., at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way.

Back for the third year, Girls Night@The Museum takes place on Friday, Nov. 2 from 7-10 p.m., at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way.

The event features food by Milestones and Thrifty Foods, as well as wine from Lotusland Winery. There will be displays from 12 artists and artisans, a Learn Discover Create centre and a jazzy trio featuring the voice of Kat Wahamaa. Tickets are $25 and include a drink, food and entertainment.

New this year, local photographer Andrew Simpson will be doing glamour portraits during the event. The $40 photo session ticket includes the photo, drink, food and entertainment. Only 50 tickets are available.

A mix of new and returning artists will showcase creations in pottery, glass, jewelry, visual art, textiles and wood.  Joining Wahamaa at Girls Night@The Museum are her song-writing and life partner Tony Rees on guitar/bass and Astrid Sars on saxophone and flute.
