Fraser Valley comic Cliff Prang releases first special

Dad Body of Work highlights journey through marriage and fatherhood

Fraser Valley comedian Cliff Prang has recorded his first full-length standup comedy special.

Dad Body of Work is now available to stream and share off the website cliffprang.com.

The special highlights Prang’s journey through marriage, parenthood, self-employment and a body that just keeps quitting.

This is a bit of a departure from Prang’s squeaky-clean pastoral persona. (In September, he was featured in Reader’s Digest.)

This special is geared towards adults. It’s still clean in that the expletives are reserved for his Vancouver commute, but Prang jumps into the woes of parenting and keeping the marriage “spark” alive in a way that is relatable.

In short, these are not your dad’s dad jokes.

Dad Body of Work is set to come out on iTunes in coming weeks.

Prang is a professional actor, comedian and amateur stay-at-home dad. He has been in love with the stage and making people laugh since childhood.

He has a full menu of comedy options, including standup, improv, speaking, emceeing, and auctioneering.

He delivers those services to a broad spectrum of audiences at bars, clubs, schools, churches and corporate events.

Prang has more than 22 years of improv experience with VancouverTheatreSports, The Panic Squad Improv, and now Funny Brothers Improv.

He has been seen on CBC, Global, NBC and the W Network, as well as locally at the Abbotsford Yuk Yuks, where he opened for Canadian legend Mike MacDonald.

He also opened for Saturday Night Live’s Chris Kattan at TEDx Chilliwack and can be seen in the video for Abbotsford’s Official Community Plan with Sunee Dhaliwal and Mayor Henry Braun.
