The Fraser Valley Community Winds are playing their annual spring show on April 26.

The Fraser Valley Community Winds are preparing for yet another annual spring show, with the group featuring music for everyone at this year's concert.

Having been a part of the local music community for nearly 60 years, the Fraser Valley Community Winds understands the shift that music can take throughout the decades, and wants to harness the power of nostalgia it can create.

That's why the group has chosen to combine a mix of songs from contemporary composers and classic hits to ensure that people of all ages will receive a taste of musical nostalgia at the upcoming show.

Titled "Yesterday's Joy", this spring concert takes place at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium on Saturday, April 26. The show begins at 7 p.m., with tickets costing $25 per person, with discounts available for seniors, students, and families.

There will also be a silent auction filled with a variety of items donated by Fraser Valley groups. All of the money from this event will go toward supporting the musical charity, which gives adults of all ages a chance to express their love of music within a group of like-minded intermediate and advanced musicians.
