Hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach are uniting for a cross-Canada concert tour that includes a stop in Abbotsford on Friday, Sept. 9.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. at Abbotsford Centre for the tour that also includes special guest Sixx:A.M. and support from Ashes to New.

Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach have 10 number-one singles and more than 25 top-10 singles between them.

They actively involved their fans, via a “demand campaign,” by giving them the opportunity to request that the tour come to their city. More than 60,000 Canadians responded.

The two bands co-headlined American and European arenas last fall and won the Arena Tour of the Year award form the German Promoters Association.

Las Vegas hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch debuted their sixth album, Got Your Six, in September 2015.

Five Finger Death Punch have grown exponentially in just a few years, racking up 16 consecutive top 10 hits in the U.S., five number-one hits, four gold albums and one platinum album.

With the release of 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1 (recently certified gold) and Volume 2, the band created continuous new content with which they outsold the majority of bands in their genre, selling two million albums over the past three years in North America alone.

Papa Roach released their eighth studio album, F.E.A.R., in January 2015, which included the number-one single Face Everything and Rise and the top-five single Gravity.

This month, the band headed back into the studio to create their ninth studio album.

Last year marked the 15th anniversary of Infest, the band’s breakthrough album, which has sold more than eight million copies to date.

Sixx:A.M.’s single Rise is currently number three on the Canadian Rock Chart. Their current album, Prayers for the Damned Vol. 1, debuted at number one on the U.S. Independent Album Chart, second on the U.S. Rock Albums Chart and seventh on Canada’s Billboard Top 200 Chart.

From Ashes to New come fresh off their debut release, Day One. Their hit single Through It All climbed to the top 10 at Rock Radio and amassed more than 4.5 million streams.

Tickets for the show go on sale starting Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.ca, all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 1-855-985-5000. Prices range from $39.50 to $69.50 (plus fees and charges).

One dollar from each ticket sale will be donated to a wildfire relief charity organization soon to be announced.
