Kai and Lia Gronberg

Fiddlin’ Frenzy is the next concert in the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series.

The performance is on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Clayburn Gourmet Gallery (#320 3033 Immel St.).

Fiddlin’ Frenzy is a pair of B.C. sibling phenoms, Kai and Lia Gronberg, who have taken the western competitive fiddle scene and talent shows by storm.

They began performing at the age of five and have composed pieces since the young age of seven.

Kai and Lia won the Optimist Club talent show and placed first in various categories at the B.C. Provincial and Grand North American fiddle contests, John Arcand Fiddle Fest, Kiwanis and Chilliwack Lions Club Music Festival, and many other competitions.

They were one of the distinguished music groups representing Canada to entertain Olympic audiences and are number one on the ReverbNation Celtic charts for Abbotsford.

They were also invited by TedxKids to do a speech at Telus World of Science to inspire other children.

This fiddling duo performs Celtic, Metis, French Canadian and traditional music at many events, such as Celticfest Vancouver, Northwest Folklife, and the 2010 Olympic games, and were featured in the Olympic entertainment commercial.
